If you're a health freak and you're looking for an affordable organic Thai fusion cuisine when visiting Bangkok, look no further. Serving various options of vegetarian-friendly menus, August Organic Eatery will satisfy your appetite without adding unnecessary calories to your diet.
Main dishes - perfect for a hangry child

First things first, Quinoa larb is a must-try. For those who don't know what "larb" means, it is a type of Northeastern Thai/Laos hot and sour meat salad, which has been one of the most popular favourite dishes among tourists. Here at August, this dish is served vegetarian, and costs only 220 THB for lunch time ($7). It's a little spicy, but you can request the waiter for a less/zero spiciness option. Fellow vegetarian folks must really try this.

Thailand isn't most well known for salmon, and heaven knows how hard it is to be served a great salmon in Bangkok (unless you go to those high-end restaurants), but this place unexpectedly impressed us with its nicely done salmon steak "khao kluk kapi" dish. The rice was made with coconut milk (#nomnomnom), which was so good - your stomach will thank you for that.
Appetizers and drinks
Here are some of my recommended appetizers. The pumpkin soup is one of the best ones I've had in Bangkok; no sugar was added and the sweetness comes purely from the pumpkin's natural sweetness.

Besides the notorious Thai milk tea, Thailand is not any less famous for its refreshing iced herbal teas like lemongrass pandan tea, bael tea, mulberry tea, and the list goes on. Not only are they beneficial for health and well-being, such as reducing high blood pressure and cholesterol, but they are also very tasty. August serves many of the herbal teas, but butterfly Pea Tea is my definitely favourite (just because purple is my favourite colour LOL).
